Restless Lens Week 40: Sept 30 - Oct 6 Weirdness Week.

It was a week of photographic weirdness. There are my usual subjects: pigeons and dogs, of course. Lots of dogs. 

And there are signs and subways, people fishing, playing cards, singing and reading. All perfectly normal New York stuff.

And then there are the naked dolls with pink hair.

The man lifting dumbbells with a cockatoo perched on his shoulder.

Chicken bones in a foil tray at a bus stop.

You know. The usual.

One of the things I love about photographing New York is that you don't have to walk for very long to find weird shit.

If ever there were an “Only in New York” edition of The Restless Lens, Week 40 is probably it.
