Restless Lens Week 41: Oct 7 - 13. Same Same, But Different.

Week 41 of The Restless Lens is in the books, and I'm beginning to suspect that I'm a creature of habit.

Every week, I head out with my iPhone, never quite knowing what I'll come home with. And every week, somehow, I end up photographing the same sorts of things: interesting faces, people on the subway, signs that make me smile, dogs going about their business, and birds doing whatever it is birds do.

You'd think that after 41 weeks, I'd have exhausted the possibilities. But New York has a way of making the familiar seem new again. The faces change, the situations change, and there's always some little detail I haven't noticed before.

Besides, I can't help it if New Yorkers insist on being interesting, dogs insist on being photogenic, and pigeons insist on being absolutely everywhere.

So here's Week 41. More of the usual suspects, perhaps, but never quite the same old story. Next week should be a little different, as half of that week will be spent in Egypt!
