Restless Lens Weekly: Week 8 (February 19 - February 26)

An epic winter storm saves an initially dull week

It was shaping up to be a fairly quiet week, photographically speaking — and then the storm arrived.

I rushed back into the city from upstate just in time to catch New York transformed. The snow pummeled the city hard and fast, turning the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges area into something cinematic. The South Street Seaport area gave me a few cool shots as well.

I was still shooting one-handed, my right arm still in a sling, four weeks after rotator cuff surgery. But I wasn't about to miss this opportunity.
