Restless Lens: The Netherlands Edition - August 5th - 11th.

Another week, another collection of whatever caught my eye

This week’s Restless Lens comes entirely from the Netherlands, with photographs from Amsterdam and a day trip to Leiden. The subject matter should look familiar: cats, dogs, birds, signs, people, shadows, odd little details, and the occasional thing that simply made me stop and wonder what on earth was going on.

There are, however, no subway photos. (There is a subway here, but I rarely take it. And even when I do, it's clean and pleasant and has no character. What fun is that?)

I have one more week in Amsterdam, this time completely on my own, which means plenty of wandering and plenty of dedicated photo walks before I zip back to New York. So I suspect the Netherlands will get one more starring role before the familiar streets of NYC reclaim my attention.
