Restless Lens Week 35 : Sept 25 - Sept 1. City life in all of its forms.

Week 35 of The Restless Lens is mostly back on familiar ground: New York streets, subway platforms, passing strangers, and the assorted little moments that make wandering around the city with a camera worthwhile.

But apparently the humans weren’t enough this week.

A healthy assortment of other creatures from Staten Island found their way into the frame: birds, insects, and—somewhat unexpectedly—fish. Not exactly the wildlife one normally associates with the New York, but The Restless Lens has never been particularly fussy about its subjects.

If it catches my eye, it gets photographed.
