Restless Lens Week 36 - Sept 2 - 8. Quality Over Quantity.

Week 36 of The Restless Lens has come to a close, and this time around, I didn’t take nearly as many photographs as I usually do.

But some weeks are about quantity, and some are about what you come home with. This week, I’m going with quality.

There are several photographs in this batch that I find particularly thought-provoking, the kind that make me hover a bit rather than simply appreciate the composition and move on. Those are always nice surprises, especially since I rarely head out looking for anything in particular.

That said, some familiar characters inevitably managed to wander into the frame. Pigeons, dogs, cats, reflections... and, for reasons I can’t quite explain, shoes. Apparently footwear has become one of my recurring photographic obsessions.

Fewer photographs this week, perhaps. But there are a few here that I think I’ll be looking at for a long time.
